How Kingdom Connect functions within KUCC

“Kingdom Connect operates as a digital administrative and communication tool of Kingdom United Churches of Christ. All applications, credentials, affiliations, assessments, renewals, reports, and official actions remain subject to the Constitution, policies, procedures, and ecclesiastical order of KUCC.”

Kingdom Connect is not a replacement for the constitutional governance of Kingdom United Churches of Christ. It serves as a centralized digital platform to facilitate administrative processes, member communication, credential management, and organizational connectivity under the authority and oversight of KUCC's governing bodies.

Governing Authority

Matters subject to constitutional oversight

“Where required, matters may be referred to the appropriate governing body, including the Office of the Presiding Bishop, Executive Council, License and Ordination Council, General Assembly, General Board of Bishops, or other authorized KUCC body.”

The following governing bodies hold constitutional authority over matters processed through Kingdom Connect:

Office of the Presiding Bishop

Highest ecclesiastical authority and final arbiter on doctrinal and governance matters.

Executive Council

Oversees organizational operations, financial stewardship, and policy implementation.

License and Ordination Council

Reviews and approves all credential applications, renewals, and disciplinary actions.

General Assembly

The supreme legislative body convening representatives from all KUCC regions and dioceses.

General Board of Bishops

Governs episcopal matters, regional assignments, and bishop accountability.

Authorized KUCC Bodies

Any council, committee, or body duly authorized by the Constitution to act on behalf of KUCC.

General Assembly Meeting Notes

Official records published to credentialed members

Meeting notes from the General Assembly and other authorized governing bodies are published through Kingdom Connect and distributed to all credentialed members according to their credential type and access level.
